Edward A. Fredrick1935 - 2014Edward A. Fredrick, 78, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at Lakeview Specialty Hospital in Waterford.He was born on Oct. 31, 1935, to the late August E. and Ella H. (Baerwolf) Fredrick in Arlington, Wis.On March 2, 1957, he married Helen Washtock in Beaver Dam.Edward worked at AMC/Chrysler for 30 years in final repair, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the UAW Local #72.Edward enjoyed working on and fixing cars, traveling with his wife, canning fruits and vegetables, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.Eward is survived by his loving wife, Helen; his sons, James Fredrick Sr. of Kenosha and Jeffry (Cheri) Fredrick of Racine; his grandchildren, James Jr., Nicholas, Corrin, Daniel and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Carson and Kaeden; and his sisters, Evelyn (Robert) Radschlag of Hartford, Norma Funk of Monroe, Velma Vick of Beaver Dam and Betty Hoeft of Watertown.He is preceded in death by his two sons, Danny and David; and his siblings, Meta, Elmer, Harold and Bonnie.Funeral services for Edward will be held on Friday, Jan. 24 at 11:30 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
