Early Drakes Jr. Was born on November 15, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama to Early Drakes Se. and Ziff Drakes. Early accepted Christ at an early age.  Early attended the Birmingham public school system where he graduated from Hayes H.S. In  1969 . After high school , Early worked for the city of Birmingham in different positions  with the city before leaving Birmingham to come to the state of Michigan .  

         While in the city of Detroit , Early met Phyllis which sparked a  Long lovely relationship which led to marriage in 1973 and the two were married  for 46 years . To this union , three children were born two boys Earl and Quentin and one girl Sabrina

       Early worked for a different companies in Detroit , America Linen being one of them and from there to having his own  landscaping business . Early was a great cook and was know for his famous dishes ranging from  barbecue to his famous thanksgiving dressing.  Early departed this life on May 30, 2019 . He was preceded in death by : father, Early Drakes Sr.; mother , Ziff Drakes; Sister, Bessie Webb; and brother, Robert Wooten.

        Early leaves to cherish his memories: wife , Phyllis; son ,Earl and wife , Nashabie; son Quentin ; brothers, Charles Drakes, Mose Drakes, Tommey Lee Wooten; Sister, Bertha Drakes; granddaughters Stepany Markeeta, LaShay, Quita, Jasmine and Clotee; One great - granddaughter Imani ; great-grandsons,  Christian ; Jabaree and Vincent ; aunt ,Rosie Mae Allen; and niece Ann; and a host of newphews , nieces , cousins, and friends.
