Theabo, EarlEarl R. Theabo 91, of Appleton passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Willow Lane Assisted Living. Earl was born on July 1, 1926 in Oshkosh to the late Louis and Marie (Gieger) Theabo. On May 20, 1950 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Elaine Lucy Janssen. Earl was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church where he was very active serving over 20+ years. He was also involved with the Senior Center in Waushara County, the Waushara County SHARE program, President of the Eagles Club for 3 years and also served 2 years as an Alderman for Red Granite making many positive changes for that area. Earl enjoyed camping, cooking out on the fire pit, playing pool and play cribbage at the Senior Center. He loved wood working, and remodeling 3 family homes. Earl is survived by his children, Mary Hare, Jean (Robert) Schultz, Rose (Robert) Prader, Michael, Paul, Gary (Cindy), John (Pam) Theabo, his sister Mabel (Ron) Kunde, and his sister in law Jackie Theabo, by his 27 grandchildren, and 43 great-grandchildren.Earl was preceded in death by his wife Elaine, parents Louis Theabo and Marie Alwin (Theabo), his brother Herb Theabo, his son-in-law Richard Hare and a daughter-in-law Gwen Theabo. The family will have a private memorial services will be held on Saturday July 29, 2017 at 1:00pm at Willow Lane. The family wishes to send their deepest thanks to the staff of Willow Lane Assisted Living, and Compasses Hospice for the loving care of their father. They know his last years were blessed because of their unending gentle care. Your care and love extended to their father Earl, and our family is a memory we will always cherish.
