COLWICH-Wappelhorst, Dylan "D-Wapp" Age 18. Dylan was born on December 28, 1996, in Wichita, the son of Joseph and Patricia (Starr) Wappelhorst. He was a 2015 graduate of Andale High School, where he excelled in school and on the field. He was currently attending KU studying physics. Dylan had a great sense of humor and brought laughter and joy to all he knew!. Survivors include parents, Joe and Pat Wappelhorst; siblings, Jennifer and husband, Shawn Warner, Erica Wiechman, Natalie Wiechman, Blake Wiechman, Jonathan Wappelhorst, and Amanda Wappelhorst; nieces and nephews, Bryce, Hayley, Emma, Cayden, Remington, and Kinsley Warner, and Myia Havey; grandmother, Mary Ann Wappelhorst; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Dylan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dolly King, Bill Starr, Roy King, and Marcus Wappelhorst; and a cousin, Alex Wappelhorst. Recitation of the Rosary 7 p.m. Monday, November 2; Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, both at Sacred Heart Church, 311 S. 5th Street, Colwich. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Andale High School Science Dept. and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
