Douglas Owen Julius Douglas Owen Julius, 90, widower of Pearl Julius, of Beaufort, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Summit Place of Beaufort. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11 AM at Beaufort National Cemetery with Military Honors. Douglas was born on March 9, 1926 in Orwell, VT and was the son of the late James Julius and Agnes Labshere Julius. He served our country in the United States Navy during World War II and manufactured Mica Paper with The 3m Company. Surviving is a son, Randy Julius; two daughters, Janice Oberdorf and Jean Parris and ten grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
