Foley, Douglas B.Douglas B. Foley, age 65, of Neenah passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Brewster Village in Appleton. He was born on February 7, 1952 in Neenah, Wisconsin and raised by his father, Lawrence Foley; grandmother, Rose Marx, and step-mother: Mildred Wollenhoffer. Doug was a graduate of Neenah High School, Class of 1970. He furthered his education at Fox Valley Technical Institute with a truck driving certificate in 1980. He was employed for many years at the Red Owl, and then many more years driving truck for UPS until his retirement. He was united in marriage to Jeanne M. Achter on October 16, 1991. Doug enjoyed entertaining his family and friends with his costumes, hats, and watches. He loved fishing, golfing, cars, motorcycles, his riding lawnmower, boating, and kayaking. He was a beloved husband, brother, and friend.He will be sadly missed by his wife of 24 years, Jeanne; siblings: SueAnn (Konrad) Schodorf; Lawrence R. (Kay) Foley; Cheryl Foley; nieces and nephews: Kurt, Nanette, Tonya, Scott, and Emily; sister-in-law, Debbie Swanson; brother-in-law, Bruce (Julie) Achter; Carley the Wonder Dog; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence and step-mother, Mildred; grandmother Rose Marx; a niece Shawn Elizabeth Foley Secard; parents-in-law Joseph and Marie Achter; brother-in-law Scott Swanson; a dear friend Joan Leech; and beloved pets: Nasie, Coco, Cali, Snowy, Shadow, and Libby.A Memorial Service for Doug will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Steve Pable officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
