Dorothy Houston, age 80, passed away on September 24, 2016 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She is survived by her long companion, Walter E. Houston and her eleven children: Walter Houston Jr, Sylvia Cooper, Albert Houston, Marie Lane, David Houston, Bradley Houston, Bryan Houston, Michael Houston, Eric Houston, Sandra McGrew, and Jeffery Houston.

Memorial/Funeral services will be performed at Greater New Zion Baptist Church on September 28,2016 at 11a.m.
