Doris E. ButlerCroswellCROSWELL-  Doris E. Butler, age 96, a resident of Croswell passed away at her residence on Friday, July 21, 2017. She was born on March 27, 1921 in Detroit a daughter of the late Claude  and Laura (Florp) Lessard.  Doris married James Leo Butler on February 4, 1939 in Detroit.  He preceded her in death on July 15, 1997. Doris was a member of the former St. Patricks Catholic Church in Croswell for many years. She is survived by her two sons, James Butler of Croswell and Patrick (Donna) Butler of Canton; three grandchildren Michael Butler, Kimberlin (Joseph) Klonowski and Scott Butler. Doris was preceded in death by her brothers Harvin and Norman Lessard. Visitation will be from 3-7 P.M.  on Monday at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Croswell.  Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home, with visiting from 10-11 A.M.  Fr. Donald J. Eppenbrock  of Ave Maria Parish will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Croswell Cemetery.
