Doris A. Moore was born December 21, 1954 to Annie Mae and James Lee Williams, James preceded her in death. Her sisters are Mary,Martha,Dorothy,Theresa, Gladys, Bessie (Jackie), Glenda(Glen),Renee and Betty.

Doris attended DuSable high school, where she developed her love of sports, she played Volleyball and Softball throughout her teenage years. Doris also enjoyed music, She was very easy going and laid back, was always smiling. Doris worked for the Beverly Hotel, where she later retired.

In 1977, She later met and married the love of her life, Keith Undell Moore Sr, together, they had two sons, Keith Diante Moore Jr. and Eric Donte Moore, From son, Keith Jr. She had two beautiful grandchildren, Alijah and Amaya Moore.
