Donna Ruth Toney, age 62 of Plainfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 25th, 2018. She was born to Herman Escobedo and Ruth Escobedo on November 23rd, 1956.

Donna was married to Michael L. Toney on July 20, 1976. They were married for 33 years before Michael passed in the fall of 2009.

Donna's family and friends were her love and joy. She grew up spending holidays with her two brothers, Donald and Delbert. She loved to try new recipes and have people over for dinner parties at her house. She also enjoyed shopping but especially taking her two granddaughters. For several years, Donna would visit her cousin, Lisa in Arizona in the wintertime. She loved her time in Arizona and made many memories and lifelong friends while there.

Donna was a member of the Plainfield Bowling Club for 15 years with her husband, Michael. She loved to bowl and throughout those years she built multiple friendships that would last her a lifetime. She was very active and loved being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. 

Donna is survived by her two brothers, Delbert M. Toney and Donald R. Toney; her son, Chris A. Toney and his wife, Jennifer Toney; her 2 grandchildren, Ashlyn and Alyssa Pickens. She also leaves behind a lot of caring relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Hall-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 28, 2018. Burial will follow the funeral at Maple Hill Cemetery at 5:00 PM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hall-Baker Funeral Home.
