Donna "Mickey" Easlick Erick­son, age 79, of Oscoda and formerly of Ishpeming died on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Tendercare of Tawas City following a brief illness. She was born on Oct. 14, 1931, in Saginaw to the late Michael and Anna Easlick. She married Lee Erickson of Prescott on Dec. 31, 1951, and together they raised three children. Mickey loved quilting, reading, watching TV, playing cards, cooking, baking and feeding the wild birds. She was a member of Oscoda United Methodist Church and had previously been a member of Salisbury United Methodist Church in Ishpeming. She is survived by her three children, Donald (Debbie) Erickson of Ishpeming, David (MaeBelle) Erickson of Ishpeming and Kathleen Erickson of Oscoda; five grandchildren. Ryan Erickson (fiancé Melissa Ball), Adam (Kala) Erickson, Bonnie (Dino) Oliver, Kimberlee Erickson and Mikayla Erickson; one great-grandchild, Emma Ruth Erickson; a brother, Michael Easlick of Saginaw; and a sister, Ardene Van Wormer of Saginaw. Mickey was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; infant son, Daniel; daughter-in-law, Ruth; and four brothers and two sisters. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 11, 11 a.m., at Oscoda United Methodist Church with the Rev. Briony Desotell officiating.
