Donna Elizabeth AllisonOur beloved Donna Elizabeth Allison passed away on January 29, 2017 at home with her devoted husband at her side after a courageous battle against
breast cancer. She fought the good fight with grace and dignity with the steadfast belief that everything happens for a reason. She was born on November 26, 1957 to Maurice and Nancy Allison in Washington, D.C. She was a registered nurse and had recently received a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She is survived by her husband, Edward R. Floyd, (Tallahassee, Fl.); her mother, Nan Allison, (Sedona, AZ); sisters Karen Allison (New York City) and Gailyn Allison (Sedona, AZ); her brother Lee and Rosario Allison (Hallandale, FL); James and Robin Floyd (Tallahassee, FL); CAPT (ret.) Pat and Rosemarie Nemeth (Crofton, MD); BG (ret.) Robert and Beverly Floyd (Manassas, VA) and many nieces and nephews. Donna was what God wanted people to be: loving and compassionate, kind and nonjudgmental. She found peace on frequent hikes in nature with her husband Ed on their many travels. She felt a kinship with all of God's creatures, great and small .Donna's adoring husband is forever grateful to Donna for helping him to be a better man.Donna went ahead and is saving a place for all. Until we meet again. We would also like to thank Covenant Care staff for their concern, kindness and professional care.
