Donald (Joe) SedwickDonald (Joe) Sedwick, age 75, passed away November 11, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. His family was by his side.He was born on May 4, 1941 to George and Pauline Sedwick, who have preceded him in death.Joe married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Saunders on December 2, 1961. They had 54 wonderful years together.For 30 years, he worked for General Motors and enjoyed his retirement. He was the happiest when he was on his lawnmower doing his lawn, or helping anyone in need. Riding his bicycle was another favorite pastime. His family always came first. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.Joe was an active member of the St. Clair Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed sharing Bible truths with others.He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, children, Kirk Sedwick, Jodi (Steve) McCarty, son, Kraig and Justin (Blair) Sedwick, grandchildren, Donald, Amber, Cole, Clint Sedwick, Matthew Fadanelli, Maria (Shelby) Berger and Nala Sedwick, Great-grandchildren, Jalen Sedwick, Julian Miller, Camden and Cain Sedwick, step-grandchildren, Sky, Star, Meliah and Jarmaine, aunt, Mary Lou Hillock, uncle, David Lindsay, brothers-in-law, George and William Saunders, Paul (Clarice) Saunders, Bob (Jan) Saunders, sisters-in-law, Eleanor Angoue, Phyllis (Tom) Gates, Janet (Bud) Sebastain and several nieces, nephews and cousins.There will be a memorial talk on November 19, 2016, at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 6268 Fred Moore Highway, St. Clair, Michigan.In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes can be made to Blue Water Hospice.To view the obituary and share memories, please visit www.jowettfuneraldirectors.com
