Donald 'Danny' Rudolph Valdez of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away at home on November 28th 2019, surrounded by loved ones. Born March 18th 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thomas 'Rudy' Rudolph Valdez and Elizabeth Valdez (Silva). He was a proud veteran serving as a Green Beret in the 101st Airborne Assault Division, Special Forces. Danny worked at Granatos in Salt Lake City, Utah for 20+ years and created D&D Enterprises where he ran a handyman service with his wife for several years serving the greater Las Vegas area. He was a commander of American Legion Post 112 in Salt Lake City, Utah before relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada. He also was an incredibly skilled billiards player who had earned many awards. Danny was known for his tricks and jokes he would play on everyone who knew him, there was never a dull moment with him around. He left his mark on the many people he met in his life time and will be missed greatly. Preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth (Silva) Valdez, father Thomas 'Rudy' Valdez, sister Elizabeth 'Liz' Valdez, and brother Steve 'Beaver' Valdez. Survived by the love of his life of 15 years, wife Diana Lee Valdez. Daughters, Sabrina Valdez, Danna Valdez, Jessie Valdez all of Salt Lake City, Utah. 4 Grandchildren, Stepchildren, Adam Pinto of Enterprise, Utah, Erin Andrews, Rod Duncan; both of California and his dog Papas.Memorial to be held on December 17th at 1:20 PM at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial in Boulder City, Nevada.
