Donald L. YahnAVONDALE: Donald L. Yahn, 79, of Avondale, passed away at 9:15 a.m. Thur. July 4, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Jan. 8, 1934 in Fultonham the son of the late Gail and Dorothy Yahn. He retired from Chesterhill Stone Company as a shovel operator. He enjoyed cooking, hunting mushrooms, playing cards, and trips to casinos.He is survived by his wife, Judy (Eversole) Yahn whom he married Sept. 4, 1953; three sons, Mike (Tammy) Yahn, Pat (Beth) Yahn, and Rocky (Ina) Yahn; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; good buddy, Bill; one brother, Russell Yahn; and one sister, Betty Rucker.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Yahn; and one sister, Alice Mae Clayton.Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sun. July 7, 2013 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Mon. July 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Rev.
