Donald Gibson JERSEY CITY Donald Gibson, 71, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2018 at Sentara north Virginia medical center in Woodbridge Virginia. Donald was formerly of Jersey City and a proud Deputy Fire Chief, retiring some twenty years ago. John's late parents were Freida and Thomas Gibson , a retired Police Lieutenant in the mile square city. Surviving is his wife, Maureen Wilson , his cherished kids, Josephine De Loach and Gary De Loach and his wife Rose. Grandkids Earl , Dsire and Jahnel. John may also be remembered for his interest and ownership of Thoroughbred horses. He had an avid interest in sports cars, but will be most remembered for his kindness and benevolence to his many friends and neighbors. Prior to his passing, it was his request that his body be donated to science with the intent of advancement in healthcare.
