Pickett, Diane PatriciaDiane P. Pickett, 54, of Wescott, formerly of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2017, at her home. She was born on March 29, 1963, in Oconto, the daughter of Paul and Jacqueline (DeHut) Johnson. Diane's passion for life was contagious, and she had an unforgettable smile. She loved her family and friends and was loyal to a fault. She was intelligent, loving, and had a great sense of humor. If you knew Diane, you would have loved her. She was a determined person who would work tirelessly to achieve her ambitions. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, more than anyone could have ever asked for, and those of us lucky enough to know her will never be able to fill the void left behind. Diane was united in marriage to Mark Pickett on November 1, 2003, in Medina. She enjoyed gardening, the Packers, Badgers, and the Rolling Stones. Family was extremely important to her, and she was very passionate about volunteering with SAM25.Diane is survived by her husband, Mark; children: Jennifer (Tristan Wanty) Land, and Jonathon (Kim) Land; grandchildren: Sawyer and Oliver Wanty; 8 siblings: Judy (Bill) Welhouse, Mary (John) Miller, Jim (Amy) Johnson, Fran (Catherine) Johnson, Mark (Lisa) Johnson, Nancy (Dean) Ebben, Joe (Carol Geise) Johnson, and Greg (Vicki) Johnson; her father- and mother-in-law: Searl and Sally Pickett; 2 sisters- and 1 brother-in-law: Jill Pickett, Amy (Steve) Stedl, and Mike (Annie) Pickett; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.Diane was preceded in death by her parents; step-father: Robert Bertram; brother: Roger Johnson; as well as grandparents-in-law: Raymond and Marion McAllister.A gathering in celebration of her life will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Winncrest Banquets, 2788 Towne Court, Neenah.
