Devin Richard Riccardi, 36, of Chicago, IL passed unexpectedly on December 7, 2016. Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Devin was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was born on January 2, 1980 to Richard Charles and Diane Lynn Riccardi. He completed his undergraduate studies at
Ohio State University, and later received his Master's degree at the
University of Illinois. Devin was a gifted and passionate architect. Most recently, he worked for Interior Architects in Chicago. Aside from architecture, Devin was a passionate photographer and enjoyed art, history, and music. He was a Disney-buff, knowledgeable in all things "Disney" and had his favorite characters, like Stitch, Tigger, and Mickey. He loved Chicago and the city life, but also loved to travel and see the world. Devin was an adored uncle by his nieces Melania and Amaya who referred to him affectionately as Uncle "Devin Monster." He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him. Devin was preceded in passing by his mother, Diane Lynn Riccardi. He is survived by his father, Richard C. Riccardi; his brother, Erik Riccardi and his wife Rebecca; his nieces, Melania and Amaya; his Aunt Renee Tabor; his Uncle Robert Tabor and his wife Kathy; his close friends Richard, Aaron, and Wesley; and many other close friends. Visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00am at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte, 994 E Altamonte Dr., Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. Funeral Mass will follow at Corpus Christi Catholic Church,1050 Celebration Ave., Celebration, FL 34747 at 11:00am. Entombment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in honor of Devin to the National Trust for Historic Preservation at
