Deirdre "Dee" Nannenga Burnette age 47, of Frankfort, IN formerly of DeMotte, IN passed away on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at the IU Arnette Hospital in Lafayette, IN. She was born on September 29, 1964 in Valparaiso, IN to Robert E. and Mildred L. (Bacon) Nannenga.Dee was a 1983 graduate of Kankakee Valley High School. On March 15, 2008 in Nashville, IN she married Daniel Burnette, who survives. Dee had worked as an EMT with the Keener Township Ambulance in DeMotte, IN, the Superior Ambulance Service in Merrillville, IN and the St Elizabeth Hospital and the Tippecanoe County Emergency Services both in Lafayette, IN. Dee is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Burnette of Frankfort, IN; Loving Sons; Christopher Lee Walstra, and David Andrew Walstra both of DeMotte, IN and a step-son Brent Burnette of Frankfort.Parents, Robert & Mildred Nannenga, DeMotte, IN.; Sisters, Valerie (Nannenga) Howard, Avon, IN and Deborah Nannenga, Monticello, IN; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Sunday, May 13 from 2 - 8 PM at Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 14 at 10:30 AM at the American Reformed Church in DeMotte with Pastor Jake Fisher officiating. Burial will be in the Holland Cemetery.
