Deborah McDonald SHIPSHEWANA — Deborah S. "Deb" McDonald, age 62, of Shipshewana, Indiana, died Monday, May 11, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on January 27, 1953, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Jess A. and Barbara E. (Combs) Dinkins. She married Michael L. McDonald on April 10, 1971, at the Emma Mennonite Church in Emma, Indiana. Deb was previously employed as a seamstress at Dygert Seating for many years. She also worked as a retail clerk at the Landing in Shipshewana, Indiana, and most recently the ARC Thrift Store in Shipshewana. She enjoyed reading, cooking and sewing and was known to be an excellent seamstress. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jeremy and Erin McDonald of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Jess and Jennifer McDonald of Shipshewana, Indiana; a sister, Dorothy Kay Wilkinson of LaGrange, Indiana; two stepbrothers, Gary and Gloria McDonald and Terry and Judy McDonald; and a grandson, Hunter McDonald. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Timothy Dinkins. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, Indiana. Online condolences may be sent at www.carneyfrostfuneralhome.com.
