Wilson, Dayna Marie "Sunshine" fka Neely, died unexpectedly in Phoenix, Arizona on July 28, 2017 at the age of 35. Dayna was born on November 9, 1981 at Travis Air Force Base, in Fairfield, California. Her intricate life took her around the world from Germany to New Mexico. When she decided to make Phoenix her home she began working for North Central Animal Hospital, becoming their front office supervisor. Dayna was also an accomplished fiber artist who specialized in crochet. She was consistently working on commissioned pieces, but was even more passionate about donating her efforts to benefit non-profit organizations she cared about. Dayna will be fondly remembered for her quick wit and beautiful smile, her love of the beach, enthusiasm for travel, the long motorcycle rides and as a formidable opponent at the shuffleboard table. Dayna is survived by her parents Randy & Rose Wilson of Arkansas and Barbara Cannon of Phoenix; her sister Mary Rose Foster-Keith of Indiana; her nana Georgia "Joy" Jones of Maine; her fiance Robb Felder, her godmother Debi Brady and grandma Juanita Rollins Reeves, all of Phoenix. Dayna's Celebration of Life will be held Saturday August 19th at Rum Runner's Bar - 8355 N 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020 from 10 am to early afternoon. In lieu of flowers or contributions, please consider donating to Rusty's Angels Sanctuary, in the memory of Dayna "Sunshine" Wilson. This is an organization she was passionate about. Dayna's family and friends would like to thank Karen and Debi for their devotion to Dayna, especially when she needed you there the most. Rest in peace our beautiful Groovy Sunshine.
