Tschech, DavidDavid "Mouse" Tschech, age 75, of rural Clintonville passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton.David Lee Tschech was born on February 10, 1942 in Oshkosh to Frank and Caroline (Fuchs) Tschech. In 1961 he entered the U.S. Army National Guard serving until 1966 and was activated during the Berlin Crisis. Mouse worked for some time as a meat cutter at a butcher shop in Oshkosh. Then he was employed for several years at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac. After settling in Clintonville he worked for a number of years at a local lumber mill and as a welder prior to his retirement. Mouse was a real handyman and he even built his home in the Town of Matteson, Waupaca County. He liked fishing, cutting firewood, and working in his garden. Mouse especially enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and other veterans.Survivors include three daughters, Mary (Mark) Duesterbeck of Delavan, Terry (Luke) Keeser of Jefferson, and Kelly (Andrew) Gilgenbach of Berlin. There are 8 grandchildren, David (Katelyn) Fredrick of Fort Atkinson, Jeremy (Tanya) Fredrick of Jefferson, Jessica Fredrick of Whitewater, Eli Keeser of Jefferson, Jason (Emma) Gilgenbach of Fox Lake, Pamela (Christopher) Stafford of Oshkosh, Matthew (Austina) Gilgenbach of Waupun, and Shahn Gilgenbach of Berlin. There are 12 great grandchildren, Lillian, Margaret, Nathaniel, Lucas, Rodnee, Chase, Harper, Bridger, Deztene, Braelynn, Kaelin, and Essidy. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.Mouse was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents Fredrick and Anne Fuchs; paternal grandparents Joseph and Mary Tschech; two brothers Frank and Fred Tschech; and a great grandson Ayden Stafford.Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 3rd at 12:00 Noon at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.The family wishes to thank a dear friend Mary Lemke for all the love and care given to dad.
