Mr. David John McShane 92, of Lake City, Florida, died Wednesday morning March 19, 2014 at Lake City Medical Center in Lake City, Florida. Mr. McShane was born on March 16, 1922 in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania. Mr. McShane had lived in Miami-Kendall, Florida for over fifty years before moving to Lake City. Mr. McShane was a veteran of WWII having been stationed at China- Burma- India -Region during WWII. He belonged to many civic organizations including Florida Highway Patrol Auxillary, American Legion, VFW, NAARF and was a volunteer fireman as a young man in his home town. He was a member of the Epiphany Catholic Church. Mr. McShane is survived by his beloved wife Wilda McShane of Sixty-Nine and one-half years; four daughters Pat,(Pete); Kathleen (Ron); Jeanne; Carole (Michael). He was a beloved grandfather to nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday March 23, 2014 at Epiphany Catholic Church at 3:00 P.M. with Father Mike Pendergraft. Interment will follow on Monday March 24, 2014 at Bushnell National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. in Bushnell, Florida with full Military Honors.
