DAVID LUKE BRIDGELAND, 23 MONROE, Wis. - David Luke Bridgeland, 23, of Monroe, formerly of Freeport, Ill., died Thursday, June 20, 2013, as a result of a auto accident near New Glarus, Wisconsin. David was born on November 16, 1989, in Urbana, Illinois, the son of Charles "Chuck" and Cheryl K. (Watts) Bridgeland. David attended Park Hills Evangelical Free Church. He was active in Boy Scouts and enjoyed playing violin in school. He attended Freeport Schools and was an assistant manager at Pizza Hut in Monroe. Surviving are his parents of Freeport; his daughter, Aubri Lynn Bridgeland; his girlfriend, Briana Baugus of Monroe, Wisconsin; two brothers, Daniel Bridgeland of Manchester, New Hampshire and Samuel Bridgeland of Chicago; and two sisters, Hannah (Brandon) Lamm of Freeport and Mary Bridgeland; his paternal grandfather, James Bridgeland of Winnebago; and his maternal grandfather, Roger Watts of North Sutton, New Hampshire. David was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandmothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Rev. Mark Balmer, pastor of Park Hills Evangelical Free Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs. Burial will be in Middle Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in David's memory.
