FORT WAYNE — Dave R. Kinney, 67, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014. He was born on January 7, 1947, in Lewiston, Maine, to the late Marvin Kinney and Alice (Bouthot) Collier. He worked at Cunningham Optical for 37 years and Fort Wayne Parks for five years. He will be remembered for his love of gardening and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed cooking. Surviving family members include his wife, Vicky Kinney; a daughter, Debbie (Mark) Linker; his grandchildren, Nick, Erica and Mark D.; his siblings, Sharon (Ed) Brock, Denise (Rick) Berry and Marcia (Mark) Peterson; and his little buddy, Julio. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his daughter, Dawn Kinney-Hotze; a stepson, Chad Toms; and a brother, Marv Kinney. A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Ceruti's Banquet and Event Center, 6601 Innovation Blvd., Fort Wayne, with a gathering of friends and family beginning at noon.
