Darryl Andrews, died peacefully at his home on September 24th 2019. He was a devoted husband to his wife Joanne Andrews. Born in Cambridge, MA on February 17th 1959, he was a son of the late Charles R. and Ethel Andrews He was educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville Vocational School. He then entered the US Army where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his enlistment in the US Army, Mr. Andrews had worked for most of his life as a conveyer technician for the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company. He was the Past Commander of the American Legion Post 40, as well as past 40&8 commander and Past District 10 Commander. He will be honored by many for his dedication to those he served throughout the years. Darryl enjoyed fishing as one of his favorite hobbies. Mr. Andrews leaves behind his Beloved wife Joanne. He was the father of One Cearah Massenburg. He was the cherished brother of Harold Andrews, Susan Preston, Virginia Vengren, and the late Shirley Porter. He was grandfather to Dewayne, Erin and Jaret.
