Danny William Atkins Danny William Atkins, 74, of Topeka, passed away November 1, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on August 24, 1942, to John F. and Lillian L. (Proper) Atkins. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Danny also enjoyed tinkering with his 1969 GMC pick-up. He was a member of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church and met with his buddies on every Tuesday morning. Danny was a pressman at Adams Business Forms for 41 years. Danny married Joan Marie Wulfkuhle on September 5, 1966 in Topeka, KS. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She survives. Survivors also include four children, John Atkins (Sheri Daudet), of Topeka, Linda (Robert) Miller, of Holton, Loretta (Brad) DeLong, of Tecumseh, Cathy (Joseph) Boyden, of Perry, a brother, Timmy W. Atkins, of Topeka, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Jo, in infancy. Danny was cremated. A Parish Rosary will be prayed Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
