Dana Durisko Hayes McManusWest Columbia, SCDana Durisko Hayes McManus, 39, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina.Dana was born on June 16, 1977, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She had the opportunity to live in Arkansas, Asheville, North Carolina, Cody, Wyoming, Lexington, Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, and Columbia, SC. and many other places. Dana attended Lexington High School in Lexington, SC. She served in the United States Army as a Munitions Specialist. In Hawaii she was a part of the team to deactivate the Johnston Island facility. Dana lived life with gusto and had many friends that loved her dearly. She loved sports both, professional and college. She especially loved any team with Peyton Manning.At the age of 9, Dana accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized at Holland Avenue Baptist Church in West Columbia. Dana was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hartwell and Thelma Hayes and George and Lois Durisko all from Clarksville, TN.Dana is survived by her fiancé, Jeff Wilkinson of Cayce, SC; her parents, William "Bill" and Barbara Durisko Hayes of Morristown, TN; her brother, Andrew Garner Hayes (Mariane) of St. Matthews, SC; and niece, Ashley and nephews, Zachary and Raymond Hayes. Loving aunts and uncles, Sue Whitesel (Ivan), Louis Hayes (Joy), Lynda Sullivan (Shelby), and Rebecca Hunter.Pallbearers will be her cousins: Michael Christoph, David Christoph, Patrick Sullivan, Douglas Sullivan, and Christopher Hunter.Dana's life will be celebrated and honored on Monday, October 31, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, TN with Dr. John David Laida and Dr. Felts Dent officiating.
