Dale M. Turner, 63, of Montrose, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Wilson Hospital Johnson City, N.Y. She was born on September 3, 1951 in Staten Island, N.Y., to the late Peter J. Modzelewski and Delphine M. Johnsen.Surviving are two daughters, Monica Turner and fiancé Frankie McPherson of Casper, Wy., Katherine Turner of Montrose; step-son, Rich Turner, New Hampshire; granddaughter, Claire Lori; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and Arthur Thatcher, Branchville, N.J., Susan and John Scasny, Lebanon, N.J.; and loved by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother; Peter M. Modzelewski, and a sister, Lori Kashinsky.Dale was a compassionate person to both humans and animals, it lent well with life's work as an RN. She enjoyed playing practical jokes as well as having them played on her; that went well with her wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed having many adventures, and she was devoted to her granddaughter, Claire. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2015, at the Holy Name of Mary Church with Rev. Philip Ryappan officiating. Visitations will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose.
