Williams, Sr., Dale A.Dale A. Williams, Sr., 84, Hobart, died Monday, April 17, 2017 following a battle with lung cancer. He was born on January 24, 1933, in Oneida to Bernard and Alice (Thyrion) Williams.On February 14, 1953, Dale married Nancie Otto at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Green Bay. He worked for Green Bay Packaging for 40 years. In grade school, Dale served as an altar boy at St. Joseph Parish in Oneida. He loved hobby farming and together with Nancie, raised cattle, pigs, and did gardening. Dale also loved deer hunting and cutting wood.He is survived by his wife, Nancie; six children and their spouses, David Williams, Margo (Bill) Carman, Dean Williams, Margene (Bill) Eisch, Darcy (Tonya) Williams, Derrick Williams; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his sister, Patricia Dudley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Dale was preceded in death by a son, Dale Jr.; his parents; two brothers, Bernard Jr., and Chuck; and an infant sister, Audrey.Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 145 St. Joseph Dr., Oneida, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. John C. Katamba officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
