Feb. 28, 1924 - May 19, 2017On May 19th our beloved mother/grandmother passed away at the age of 93. Daisy was born on Feb. 28, 1924 in Moorefield, Nebraska to the late John & Leah (Thomas). She was married to Robert Burton Welch on December 18, 1942. Daisy was a homemaker and the matriarch of her family. Family always came first for Daisy. She instilled the importance of family & family traditions into all of her loved ones and those traditions will be carried on for generations to come. Daisy loved ballroom & western dance, was a superb baker, an avid gardener and also enjoyed sewing. Daisy was preceded in death by her loving husband, siblings: Connie Peel & Nadine Fong; daughter: Roberta Kramer; and grandson: Donald Kramer. She is survived by her daughter Susan I Tyrrell (John), son-in-law, Fred Kramer,grandchildren Susan Greenberg (Scott), Brenda Harry (David), Laura Dragovich (Nick), Johnny Tyrrell (Michelle) and 8 great-grandchildren. Daisy's requested a private family service where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband of 59 years.
