He was a familiar presence at their events and soccer games. He was never late, not once, to the bus stop for afternoon pick-up, rain or shine. He especially loved when his grandchildren from Florida visited and the grandkids were all together playing soccer in his yard. Gus was a fixture in his Nobscot neighborhood and loved talking and sharing jokes with friends at his daily stops. He was a kind, devoted family man who will be missed by his family, friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank those assisted in his care, particularly his doctors and the professional and compassionate nurses and staff on the second and fifth floors of Framingham Union Hospital and from Metrowest Home Care. At the request of the family, private services will be held on Saturday with burial in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Framingham. A memorial service will be held at a future date. The John P.
