Connie L. SwigerConnie L. Swiger, 47, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 6:50 p.m. at St. Mary's Health Care. Connie was born on January 13, 1970 in Sydney, OH to Robert and Margie (Silcox) Fittro. She attended Lafayette Jefferson High School, and then worked at various restaurants in the Lafayette area. She attended St. Mary's Cathedral, loved playing Bingo, crafts, and loved animals.Surviving is her father, Bob (wife: Alice) Fittro of Lafayette, brother, Alva Neal (wife: Melinda) Collingsworth Jr., of Wier, KS, and sister, Angie (husband: Steve) Schultz of Lafayette. Also surviving are 4 nephews and 2 great nieces.She is preceded in death by her mother, Margie (Silcox) Fittro. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to her second family, the staff at St. Mary's Health Care.Services will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Father Underwood officiating. In honor of Connie's favorite color, those attending are encouraged to wear pink.
