Colleen Sue Scott KalinoskiAugust 8, 1931 - July 24, 2016Colleen Sue Scott Kalinoski (nee Myers) died on July 24, 2016. Colleen was born on August 8, 1931 in Caldwell to Bruce and Belva Myers. She graduated from Caldwell High School and attended business school in Boise. She married Richard "Dick" Wayne Scott in 1951. They lived in Hawaii while Dick served in the U.S. Navy. The couple returned to Idaho, then moved to Seattle where Colleen cared for their three children. In 1968 the family moved back to Caldwell where Colleen and Dick were co-owners and operators of a food distributing company. Following Dick's death, Colleen was married to Edward Kalinoski who died in 2003. Colleen is survived by her children Cynthia Scott, David Scott, and John Scott. A grandson Ben Phillips, granddaughters Andrea Seidl (Spouse-Andrew), and Emily Scott. Also her beloved sister and brother in law Skip and Bob Rosencrantz and their family. She is preceded in death by Dick Scott and Edward Kalinoski. Colleen was proud of her family heritage and ties to the history of Caldwell. She was the granddaughter of early residents Arthur and Bessie Myers who moved from Nebraska to Caldwell in 1905 and started the "All Insurance" Myers company. Colleen was a member of the Society of Mayflower descendants and Order of Eastern Star. A Graveside Service will be held Friday July 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell. Arrangements are with Boise Funeral Home.
