Colleen Evans1951 - 2014Colleen Lynn Evans, of Boise passed away on November 9, 2014 at the age of 63.Colleen was born on September 26, 1951 in Billings, Montana to James and Glenna McVicker Fleming. After attending schools in Billings and Williston, ND she graduated from Highland High School in Pocatello in 1969. She met her husband Leland "Lyle" Evans in December of 1968 and they were married July 11, 1970. After Lyle's service to his country in the United States Navy they returned to Idaho.Colleen opened "POMS, Inc." in 1990 where Colleen and Lyle were able to work together. They retired in April of 2013 after 23 years of working together. They were able to spend the summer traveling to see family and friends.Colleen loved the outdoors, camping, crafting, traveling and mostly playing with the grand kids.She was actively involved in the Eagle Christian Church, Best Friends animal shelter, Boise County Democrats and Healthcare Billing & Management Association.She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Lyle on October 27, 2013.Colleen is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jeremy and Becky Evans; grandchildren, Mykenna and Kyah; brothers, Doug, Don & Dick Fleming.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
