Clyde W. KidmanJuly 11, 1931 - August 10, 2015BRIGHAM CITY - Clyde Watkins Kidman passed away on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, with his family by his side.Clyde was born on July 11, 1931, in Ogden, Utah, a son of Mabel Watkins and Hyrum Kidman. He graduated from South Cache High School and attended Utah State University, graduating with a BS in agriculture and then continuing on to receive a MS in horticulture. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed farming throughout his life.Clyde graduated from ROTC at Utah State University and served in the Army as a first lieutenant for two years, mostly in Madrid, Spain. Clyde married Reea Petersen on Aug. 22, 1956, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Clyde was a very devoted husband and father, who dedicated his life to his family. He was a wonderful educator and spent 40 years teaching science at Box Elder High School. Clyde was a devoted member of the church, who loved genealogy and temple work, and gave service to all. Clyde is survived by his sweetheart of almost 59 years Reea, children: Michael Clyde (Elaine) Kidman, Debora K. (Dan) Robinson, nine grandchildren: James (Camille), Brent (April), Matthew, Emily, Tahnyah, Veetahlee, Kristen (Cameron), David and Sarah, two great-grandchildren: Lucy and Eliza and sister Mary (Robert) Graves. Preceded in death by his parents; one sister and three brothers.Funeral services will be Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Brigham City 10th Ward Chapel, 145 W. 500 South, Brigham City.Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 East, Brigham City, and Monday from 10 to 10:40 a.m. at the church.Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery with Military Honors accorded.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com.
