Clifford Hill Jr. "Pete" age 75 of Corning, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 28th, 2016 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born on October 21st, 1941 in Shinglehouse, PA the son of Clifford and Beulah (Bronson) Hill Sr. Pete was well liked by everyone who knew him and he was a fun loving individual. He was employed as a carpenter under different construction companies throughout the years and he was an avid dog lover, fisherman, and hunter. He is survived by his daughter Amber (Ed Neal) Hill of Corning, wife Darlene Hill of Corning, siblings Shirley Willis of Machias, NY, Freeman "Butch" Hill of Hazelhurst, GA, Tim Hill of Bath, Bertha (Roy Hart) Hill of Tioga, PA and Beulah Finch of Canisteo. Pete is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pete was predeceased by his sister Daisy Zink, nephew Harold Shablom, and parents Clifford and Beulah Hill Sr. It was Pete's wish that there be no formal services. Arrangements made by Carpenter's Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 4th at 2pm at 48 Geneva St. Bath, NY.
