Clifford "Windy" Blaine Link of Glennie passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on Thursday, July 26, 2012, age 75 years. He was born on Aug. 3, 1936, in Flint to Adam and Myrtle (Cramer) Link. Windy worked for the Ferris Furniture Company and Joshua Door in Flint for many years. While in Flint, he was a member of the Moose Lodge. Later, when he moved to Glennie, he worked for the Glennie Tavern, making pizzas for a long time and became lovingly known as the "Pizza Man." He married his wife, Mary E. (nee Schlink), at his sister's house on May 23, 1970. Together, they celebrated 42 wonderful years of marriage. Those who knew Windy will always remember how particular he was about his yard and how he would mow his lawn religiously. His family and friends recall how he truly loved spending time at deer camp and the hunting and activities that go along with those special times. Windy and his wife, Mary, would not only hunt together, but have many fun memories of camping at deer camp. Most of all, he will always be remembered for how he truly adored his grandchildren.
