Clarence N. SmithOctober 11, 1921 - January 7, 2017LebanonClarence N. Smith, 95, passed away on Saturday January 7, 2017 at The Gardens of Palmyra. He was the husband of Catherine M. (Molesavich) Smith, with whom he celebrated 75 years in marriage this past November.He was born on October 11, 1921 in Lebanon to the late Ammon H. and Maria L. (Nagle) Smith. Clarence was a 1939 graduate of Hershey High School. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in WWII. He had worked in the electrical department for Bethlehem Steel in Annville for 43 years. He was a member of Christ Church UCC in Annville, where he was a past deacon and a past chairman for the construction phase of remodeling in 1972. He was also a member of the Hershey Italian Lodge, Lebanon V.F.W. Post 23, Steelton Moose and the Annville American Legion. Clarence was an avid golfer, enjoyed dancing and watching sports. His greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, C. Randall Smith of Hershey, Patricica Ann and husband, Larry D. Stoner of Linfield, PA, Pamela Susan Smith of Lebanon; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer N. Smith.Memorial services will be held on Thursday January 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Christ Church UCC, 200 S. White Oak Street, Annville. Inurnment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, with full military honors. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
