Clarence Bauknight passed in peace on November 20th of 2018

Bauknight was preceded in death by his wife and life companion, Dorothy. He was the loving father of Cindy Sumter. He will be missed by his sisters and best friends, Tammy and Joney. Woody will be missed dearly by his many nieces and nephews and remembered fondly by his adopted grandchildren, Aaron Hook, Aissata Diakite, and Rokia Diakite; great-grandchild, Sari Diakite; and countless friends and family. “Woody” will be remembered by family and friends as a loving father, husband, and grandfather, charitable community member, humorist, and retired Chief Security Officer of USC.

The deceased has humbly requested to be cremated, being handled by JP Holley Funeral Home of Columbia, SC. Memorial service is held on December 2,2018
