This obituary is administered by:
Harlingen, TX - Clarence Andrew Cox went to his heavenly rest on November 16, 2016 while in the care of his loving daughter. Clarence was born on September 12, 1934 in Brownfield, Texas to William and Addie Mae Mathis Cox. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia Lee Vance Cox. Both are lifelong residents of Harlingen. He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Ann Cox Helm and his brother Royce Lee Cox and his parents.Clarence liked to say he was a 'jack of all trades' and a master of none but if you ask his family he was a master husband and father to his two girls Deborah Lee Cox Grayson and Julie Marie Cox, a wonderful and funny Granpa to his twin granddaughters Virginia "Jenny" Elaine Grayson and Erica Lee Grayson Kindel. He was so proud of his great grands, Grayson, Deacon and Ethan Kindel.Clarence loved life and could often be found holding a fishing pole or pulling the slots in Biloxi Mississippi with his brother. He was quite a character and will be missed by all who knew him.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, in La Feria. Graveside services on will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM Mont Meta Cemetery in San Benito.
