Clara Jean "Granny" Schoenke, 90Winchester - Clara Jean "Granny" Schoenke, age 90, of Winchester, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2017 with her family by her side.She was born on October 2, 1926 in Logansport to Frank and Rosa (Whiteman) Burns. She attended Logansport High School and was the office manager at Dixie's Dance Studio in Winchester for 30 years.  She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all the dance students and parents.  She also loved fishing and traveling with her husband, Jack.Survivors include her daughter, Dixie (Dallas) Osting of Winchester; four grandchildren, J.W. Osting (Brady), Wendi (Marty) Cross, Shane Osting and Kyle Osting; four great grandchildren, Brittany Leaver, Jaylei Osting, Lillian Cross and Landan Cross.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 ½ years, Jack A. Schoenke; her son, Kenneth A. Schoenke; four brothers and two sisters.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Danny Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.Friends and relatives may call from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to the or State of the Heart Hospice, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
