Cindy M. AuxterFREMONT: Cindy M. Auxter, 94, of Fremont, OH passed away at home, with her husband at her side, on Friday, March 31, 2017. She was born on September 23, 1922 in Vansant, VA, the daughter of Arthur and Polly (Sisk) Vandyke. Cindy married Luther Auxter on April 13, 1979 in Castalia, OH. She worked for Howard Zinc for twenty years until they closed. Cindy then worked at Sterling for seventeen years and retired in 1989. She was a former member of Assembly of God Church in Fremont. Cindy volunteered her time at Share and Care in Fremont for twenty years.Cindy is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Luther Auxter, Fremont, OH; brother, Arthur (Martha) Vandyke, Jr. and sister Belle Anderson both of Vansant, VA.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Link, Carl and Estel Vandyke and sister, Martha Street.A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, April 3, 2017, 1:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery, 1225 Oakwood St, Fremont, OH.Memorials can be made to Hospice of ProMedica Memorial Hospital, 430 S.
