Christopher Helms ROCK HILL - Mr. Christopher Robert Helms, age 42, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel at 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe, N.C., officiated by the Reverend Jerry Devinney. Interment will follow at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery in Monroe, N.C. Mr. Helms was born on December 7, 1973, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of Judy Melton Helms and the late Chester Roscoe Helms Jr. He was a courier driver for Slingshot Logistics. Survivors include his wife, Tammie W. Helms; his two daughters, Julian Tiffany Bryant and Jacque Renee Presley, all of Rock Hill, S.C.; his sister, Crystal Hayes Helms and his mother, Judy M. Helms, both of Monroe, N.C.; his granddaughter, Christina Grace Presley and his grandson, Robert Matthew Presley, both of Rock Hill, S.C.; two nieces, Brook Helms and Joy Helms and his nephew, C.J. Helms, all of Monroe, N.C. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel prior to the funeral service.
