Chester "Curt" KingMarch 11, 1964 - February 5, 2017St. ThomasCurt King, formerly of St. Thomas entered into heaven on Sunday afternoon, February 5, 2017.Curt was born on March 11, 1964 to Pauline King of St. Thomas and the late Dale L. King.Curt passed away at Hillview Nursing Center in Altoona after a six month battle with cancer.Curt enjoyed riding his Harley, camping and hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and five grandchildren. Curt was employed by Daversa Construction. He is survived by two biological children, Stacey Klein and husband, Kris of Biglerville and Daniel King of Duncansville. He is also survived by his wife, Kimberly Matthews King of Hollidaysburg; and two stepchildren, Melinda and Trey Matthews both at home and by one sister and two brothers, Carol Clugston of St. Thomas and husband, Michael; Sam King of Mercersburg and wife, Chris, William Charles King deceased. Curt was preceded in death by his cousin, Gary McCoy. A memorial service will be held at the Brethren Fellowship Church, 339 Lincoln Way E., Chambersburg PA on February 26, 2017. Family will receive visitation and fellowship from 3 to 4 p.m. with light refreshment. Memorial service from 4 to 5 p.m. Pastor David Pine will be officiating. Flowers are welcome and can be sent to Brethren Fellowship prior to the service.
