Charolette Matlock, 43, of Sacremento, California, passed Wednesday, July 25, 2018, in her home. Charolette was born June 19, 1975. She was born in Atlanta, Texas.  Charolette was a member of Zeta Sorority and an active member of New Jerusalem Citidell Church of God in Christ where she had been a member of the choir, she was head of hospitality for several years.  She was a beloved mother, community volunteer, and friend who loved to entertain.  Preceded in death by her father Eddie Dean Matlock and Edna Cruize ,  She is survived by her two sisters Sheniqua Matlock Carey (Robert Earl Carey) of Shreveport LA and Lakesha Atkins (Kenneth Atkins) Texarkana, Arkansas; One brother Remington Matlock of Bossier City, LA; Her 5 daughters Sharla Lasha Matlock, Candace Lanee Matlock, Anna Rae Matlock, Vanessa Tanee Matlock, Tesha Shanee Matlock of Sacremento. She had one special friend Marva Wilders of Shreveport La. and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Service Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, August 2, 2018, at New Jerusalem Citidell C.O.G.I.C  170 W. David Road Sacremento, Ca with Rev. Billy Powell officiating and Burial in David's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 at NJC COGIC.
