Roehl, CharlotteCharlotte Elaine ( Zuberbier) Roehl, 85, passed away peacefully at her home in the early morning hours of Tuesday October 10, 2017 in the presence of her Savior and her husband at her side. Charlotte was born on August 25, 1932 to the late Pastor Traugott (T.W) and Laura Zuberbier in Madelia, Minnesota. She moved to Fond du lac, WI in 1947 and is a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy. Charlotte married her best friend Lawrence Roehl on August 19, 1952 and in December of 1952, Lawrence was deployed to serve in Korea for the following year. Charlotte was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Dundee where she was an organist for many years and she was also a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church where she was confirmed in the faith. The Lord was her centerpiece of her doting heart, and through her, the Spirit moved among us. She bore witness to the faith and truth. Charlotte was blessed with a loving family, and dedicated her children to the word of the Lord and encouraged them to explore the beauty of salvation. Charlotte was survived by her husband, Lawrence Richard Roehl; three sons, Marc ( Baoyu ) John ( Laura) and Steve (Julie ) Roehl and one daughter Cathy (Roehl ) Hafermann. Charlotte was also survived by her twelve grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.Charlotte was proceeded in death by her parents, Traugott W. and Laura (Heinemann) Zuberbier. One brother, Ronald Zuberbier, One sister, Katherine ( Benidt) Zurberbier. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Dundee, Winnebago Lutheran Academy, or Heartland Hospice in the her name. The family would like to thank the staff of Heartland Hospice for their compassion and wonderful care for Charlotte. Visitation will be at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Dundee on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Dundee on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 4:00 pm with Rev.
