Flowers, Charles L. "Skip" Jr.,67, was born on December 22, 1949 to the late Charles and Edith (Clark) Flowers, Sr., and passed from this life on December 31, 2016. Skip was a former employee of General Electric, a driver for TARC, a big UK fan, and a Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents and was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Lawrence. Left to cherish his memory is a son, Michael Flowers (Staci); a sister, Patricia Williams; great nephew, Joshua Lawrence; and a great great niece, Mackenzie Lawrence. A service to celebrate Skip's life will be held at noon on Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Thursday. Memorial Gifts may be made to, Kenwood Baptist Church, or the KY Humane Society.
