Jerge, Catherine Patricia (Nee Gibbons ) Of Brookfield, was born to Eternal Life on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus located in Milwaukee at the age of 87. Catherine was born on March 18, 1929 in Milwaukee to John and Alice (nee Dessureau) Gibbons. Beloved wife of 46 years to the late John T. Jerge. Loving mother of Mark (Denise), Loretta, Michael (Coleen), Patricia (Chris) Shult, John (Amanda), Mary (Todd) Rosencrans. Cherished grandmother of Jenette (Shannon) Chambers, Christopher, Elizabeth Shult, Rachel, Taylor, Joseph, Bradley Rosencrans and Malena Jerge. Dear great grandmother of Jakob, and Jordan Chambers. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Joan Gibbons, brother-in-law and Jerome Jerge, nieces, nephews and very good friends. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Gibbons, her brother William Gibbons and brothers-in-law Rev. Joseph and Edward Jerge. Catherine graduated from Marquette University School of Nursing and practiced her profession as a surgical nurse and a nurse consultant. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at St. Anne's for the loving care given to Catherine. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, October13 from 4:30 to 7 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, October 14 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Brookfield (18255 W. Capitol Dr., due to re-surfacing of South lot, please use North parking lot). Committal services to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
