Catherine M. Belcher was born on September 20, 1935 in Swampscott, Massachusetts. She passed away on November 17, 2016 in Merced, CA at the age of 81. She worked as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and taking trips to the ocean. She served in the community and worked at Castle A.F.B. and the Merced Sheriff's Department. She is survived by her children; Edward Belcher Jr., Stephen R. Belcher, Robert T. Belcher and Kathy Alderman her grandchildren, Jamie Belcher, Jaclyn Alderman, Trinity Belcher, Craig Alderman, John Belcher, Kelsey Belcher, Skyler Belcher and great-granddaughter, Leah Morelini. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 from 10am to 1pm with Funeral services starting at 1pm at Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home in Merced with burial to follow at Merced District Cemetery in Merced. www.cvobituaries.com
